Capping off a satisfactory business year, we held the 2022 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on March 9, 2023, at the Puri Indah Financial Tower in Jakarta. With the conclusion of the meeting, the shareholders have decided upon items which include approving the company’s annual report and financial statements; paying out a dividend of Rp55 per share; appointing public accounting firm Purwantono, Sungkoro and Surja as auditor of the company’s annual financial statements for the 2023 financial year, and reappointing the current members of the company’s Board of Commissioners and Board of Directors, with the addition of a new member as Independent Director, for a term ending in 2028.
Arwana Ceramics Participates in KERAMIKA 2023
In an inter-department collaborative effort, we successfully participated in the KERAMIKA exhibition which was held from February 23-26, 2023, at the Jakarta Convention Center in Jakarta. Our marketing team under the command of VP of Marketing Ms. Renny A. Sandi, and our corporate communications team under the command of Head of Corporate Communications Mr. Febyan Rustandy planned, executed and manned our booth which was located at A-10 in the venue. The booth itself predominantly featured our ARNA granite tiles as a means to introduce this newest product line to consumers, although our UNO products were also featured.
Visitors were aplenty during the 4-day event, including a visit from Minister of Industry Mr. Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita who was given a tour of the booth by our Chief Operating Officer Mr. Edy Suyanto. We held various activities for drawing interest and engaging with visitors, including a happy hour every 2:30 PM providing free coffee to our Instagram followers, a mood-board competition, a glass workshop coordinated by our very own Ms. Karina, as well as a non-alcoholic beer pong tournament on the last day of the exhibition.
KERAMIKA is Indonesia’s largest exhibition for ceramic tile products and is a mainstay in the industry’s annual calendar. This year’s event itself marks the first event after a 3-year absence due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which makes it all the more significant.

Arwana Ceramics Celebrates 30th Anniversary in Festive Event
On February 22, 2023, we celebrated our 30th anniversary in an elegant but festive event held at the Ballroom, Djakarta Theater, in the Thamrin area of Jakarta. Elevating the prestige, we were honored with the presence of a host of distinguished guests, including the Presidential Chief of Staff, Mr. Moeldoko; the Commander of the Indonesian National Armed Forces, Admiral Yudo Margono; the Chief of Staff of the Army, General Dudung Abdurachman; the Chief of Staff of the Air Force, Air Chief Marshal Fadjar Prasetyo; numerous foreign dignitaries, local and international business partners, prominent academicians and industry figures, as well as other leaders from various walks of life. A few hours prior to the event, we also held a fireside chat session featuring Mr. Moeldoko.
This 30th anniversary marks Arwana Ceramics’ journey from a modest one small factory beginnings, to one of the largest and best-performing ceramic tile producers in the world, and having received many awards nationally and from abroad in the process.
Global Network for Advanced Management Visits Plant II
On October 19, 2022, Plant II Arwana Ceramics hosted the visit of 92 participants from various leading international postgraduate business schools that are members of the Global Network for Advanced Management (GNAM), including the Master of Management Program of the University of Indonesia’s Faculty of Economics and Business. The participants were introduced to Arwana Ceramics, taking part in presentation sessions delivered by CEO Mr. Tandean Rustandy and CFO Mr. Rudy Sujanto.
Arwana Ceramics Receives the 2022 Green Industry Award
All five plants of Arwana Ceramics received the 2022 Green Industry Award from the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia in a ceremony which was held on November 25, 2022, at the ministry’s building.
Representing each plant to receive the award was Head of Corporate Communications Mr. Febyan Rustandy (Plant I, PT Arwana Citramulia Tbk), Independent Commissioner of parent company Mr. Alex S.W. Retraubun (Plant II, PT Arwana Nuansakeramik), Independent Commissioner of parent company Mr. Karsanto (Plant III, PT Sinar Karya Duta Abadi), Plant Manager Mr. Felix Hibono (Plant IV, PT Arwana Anugerah Keramik), and Commissioner of subsidiary Mr. George Supit (Plant V, PT Sinar Karya Duta Abadi).
Arwana Ceramics Supports the One Million Roof Solar Energy National Movement
In celebrating the fifth anniversary of the One Million Roof Solar Energy National Movement (Gerakan Nasional Sejuta Surya Atap/GNSSA), a number of business organizations in the commercial and industrial sectors signed their support for the GNSSA on September 13, 2022, in Jakarta. Arwana Ceramics was among 19 companies that signed, reflecting the commitment for the use of clean energy. The application of solar-generated electricity for powering Arwana Ceramics’ plants started with Plant V, Mojokerto, East Java, in June 2022.
Arwana Ceramics Receives the 2022 Urbancity Award
Arwana Ceramics received an award at the Urbancity Indonesia Banking and Real Estate Awards 2022 which was held on September 1, 2022, at the Nareswara Ballroom, Smesco Building, Jakarta. Arwana Ceramics received the award in the category of Building Materials, namely as the Best Ceramic Tile Manufacturer in Indonesia.
Arwana Ceramics Donates Tiles to the Indonesian National Armed Forces
On September 19, 2022, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mr. Tandean Rustandy and Commander of the Indonesian Armed Forces, Gen. Andika Perkasa, signed the record of transfer for the donation of 35 thousand square meters of tiles from Arwana Ceramics to the Indonesian Armed Forces.
The signing took place at the Headquarters of the Indonesian Armed Forces in Jakarta. The donated tiles are to be used by the military for its welfare programs. Accompanying the CEO at the signing were Chief Operating Officer Mr. Edy Suyanto, and Project Manager Mr. Felix Hibono.
